What is end-of-line automation?

End-of-line automation refers to the equipment and systems that handle products after they exit the production line — primarily palletizing (stacking products onto pallets) and pallet logistics (moving loaded pallets to staging or shipping). A complete end-of-line system includes the robot palletizer, conveyor or transfer equipment, and AMRs to move finished pallets from the cell to the warehouse or shipping dock.

Why use one integrator for both the palletizer and the AMR?

Buying a palletizer from one vendor and an AMR from another creates two separate service relationships, two warranties, and two points of failure when things go wrong. When both systems are integrated by a single source, the integrator is responsible for the entire end-of-line — including the interface between the palletizer cell and the AMR fleet.
